Football schedule set for '24

Tallassee has completed its 2024 football schedule. It will include six road games.

The Tigers will open the season on Aug. 23 at Montgomery Academy. It will be the first meeting between the two schools in football. It will also be the first of four straight games away from J.E. "Hot" O'Brien Stadium to kick off the season.

Tallassee is in Eclectic for week two. It will be the 63rd meeting between the two programs and 53rd straight in the series. The Tigers open region play at Munford the following week and at region foe Booker T. Washington the next Friday.

The home opener will come on Sept. 20 versus Bullock County. That is followed by an off week before going back on the road to Cleburne County on Oct. 4 and at Handley on Oct. 11.

THS closes the regular season with three straight home games against Saint James, Talladega and Holtville. Talladega will be homecoming with Holtville designated as Senior Night.

There is no Reeltown on the slate after the rivalry's renewal in 2020.
