Milner selected for all-star event

Tallassee's Brue Milner has been chosen to play in the 2023 Alabama Baseball Coaches Association Underclassmen All-Star Event (AlaBCA ASE). The event will take place at Troy University on June 26-28. 

Milner was the starting catcher on the Tigers' varsity squad last season. He hit .317 in 25 games with a .470 on-base percentage. He had seven doubles, a homerun and 19 runs batted in. Defensively, he threw out 13 runners.

As a participant in Troy, Milner will play in three games among 120 of the top players in the 2026 and 2027 graduating classes. In addtion to monitoring game action, scouts will watch players get field work and take batting practice.
