Brad Davis of Tallassee has announced his intentions to seek the Republican nomination for the District Two seat on the Elmore County Commission in the March 5 election. Brad has been a lifelong resident of the Tallassee area, along with his wife of 24 years, Catherine. They have three children; daughters, Natalie and Abbie, who are both college students, and a son, Barker, who attends Southside Middle School in Tallassee.

Davis is a US Marine Corps veteran and local business owner for the past 25 years. He is a graduate of Faulkner University where he obtained a degree in Business Administration.

He is an active member of First Baptist Church Tallassee where he has served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He currently serves as president of Tallassee Community Development Corporation, which has allowed him the opportunity to assist in fundraising for local organizations throughout the area. Davis also serves as a commissioner on the City of Tallassee Planning Commission and as secretary of the Board of Directors for Tallassee Community Hospital. He, along with his family, have been active in youth sports throughout Elmore County, and Brad has a passion for using that platform to make a positive impact.

“I promise to the citizens of Elmore County to always serve with compassion, and to seek understanding, without ever compromising an honest, ethical, and responsible representation of the people. I understand the responsibilities of leadership, and I’m passionate about the opportunity to serve. We must understand the work that was done before us, and honor those people. We live in a great county, and the future is only growing brighter. I will be humbled and appreciative of your vote and support come March 5th.”
