Mr. Rodney Lee Ledbetter, a resident of Notasulga, Alabama, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at the age of 76.   He was born December 28, 1946, to Hosia Lee and Mary Alice Ledbetter.

Mr. Ledbetter is survived by his wife of 57 years, Geraldine Mann Ledbetter; four children, Sandy Willis (Farrell),  Chad Ledbetter (Amy),  Lori Ledbetter (Wesley)  and  Chris Ledbetter (Jennifer);  brother, Hosia “JR” Ledbetter;  sister, Donna Stroud (James);  eight grandchildren, Ashton Cosby (Cade),  Taylor Mullins (Nic),  Rhea Prather (Jarod),  Holland Schonberger,  Madison Ledbetter,  Meg Ledbetter,  Brody Ledbetter  and  Ben Ledbetter;  seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hosia Lee and Mary Alice Ledbetter; one sister, Debbie Benton;  sister-in-law, Mary Lois Ledbetter and nephew, Clint Stroud.

Rodney was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors,  as an avid gardener and fisherman.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 13, 2023, from 1:00PM until service time at 2:00PM at Salem-Macon Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Pate officiating.  Burial will follow in Salem-Macon Baptist Church Cemetery.
