Daniels receives QB Club honor

Tallassee senior running back Jalyn Daniels was named the Montgomery Public School Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 10. Alabama Christian's Corey Landers was named the Private School Player of the Week.

Daniels rushed for 235 yards on 35 carries with three touchdowns in Tallassee’s 35-33 loss to Sylacauga. His longest run of the night went for 90 yards.

Landers, a junior running back, rushed for 216 yards on 29 carries with four touchdowns in ACA's 35-13 win over Booker T. Washington.
