Mr. William V. “Bill” Davis, III, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, born December 01, 1936, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at the age of 73.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 30, 2010, at 11:00am from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Francis Lynch officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends after the service in the Parish Hall of the Church.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jean Davis; daughter, Wendy Davis Glaze (Scott); son, William V. Davis, IV (Rachael); grandchildren, Brett Glaze and Emily Glaze; sisters, Margaret Martin (Robert) and Judith Kuncas (John); a special aunt and uncle, Henry H. and Ruth G. Cary and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 620 Gilmer Ave., Tallassee, Alabama 36078 or to an organization supporting Disabled Veterans.
