Patterson announces candidacy

Sandra Patterson is seeking re-election for the Tallassee School System Board of Education Ward 6.

"I was secretary at Tallassee High School for 13 years," Patterson said. "I have worked with superintendents, principals, teachers, parents and students.

"I have attended board meetings on a regular basis and have voiced and voted for what I thought was best for our school system. I have been encouraged by citzens of Tallassee to run again."

Patterson asks for voters' consideration for four more years. The Tallassee municipal election is Aug. 23.
