Soccer team drops 2

The Tallassee High School soccer team opened its season with a pair of losses at J. E. "Hot" O'Brien Stadium.

The Tigers opened the season last Thursday in Tallassee falling to Holtville 3-0. Friday's scheduled match with Chilton County was scratched. Chilton County, an area opponent, did not have enough players.

On Monday, Tallassee hosted Russell County and lost 3-0.

The Tigers complete a four-game homestand vs. Valley on Tuesday. Gametime is 5:30.
