Keith hired at Ider

A Tallassee assistant coach has been hired as the new head football coach at Ider High School. Miles Keith will take over the program in DeKalb County in North Alabama.
Keith coached linebackers on the football staff at THS and also served as the junior varsity head baseball coach for the past year.
Ider plays in Class 2A Region 8. The Hornets were 3-7 last season.
"While we hate to lose any of our coaches, we also are excited for them when they get a chance to move up the ladder and become a head coach," Tallassee head football coach and athletic director Mike Battles said. "I think it's a good thing that other schools are wanting our coaches. It means we have the right ones here at Tallassee working with our kids. We congratulate Coach Keith and wish him nothing but the best."
