The Tallassee baseball team bounced back from a couple of early season losses with a 3-0 week.

Due to widespread rain, Tuesday's game vs. Handley was canceled and Thursday's home opener vs. Robert E. Lee was postponed. The game with the Generals was moved to Friday.

Tallassee (3-2) beat Lee 12-2 in five innings at Southside Field. Six THS pitchers combined for a four-hitter. Jacob A. Ingram started the game and went 1 2/3 innings with four strikeouts, no walks and ho hits allowed.

Four Tigers had two hits each; Bruin Hathcock, Matt Justiss, Jake Manning and Jacob Dantro. Manning led the Tigers with four RBIs.

On Saturday, Tallassee swept Dadeville and Reeltown in a doubleheader at Dadeville.

In the 11-9 win over Dadeville, Bobby Baker's seventh inning walk with the bases loaded broke a 9-9 tie. Reese Graham led the Tigers at the plate with three hits and two RBIs. Bruin Hathcock and Will Blocker had two hits each. Jacob A. Ingram picked up the win in relief pitching a scoreless seventh with two strikeouts and a walk allowed.

A five-run second started the rout of Reeltown 11-1 in a five-inning game. The Rebels managed just two hits against Jacob A. Ingram and Devan Lee. Zak Haynes, Bobby Baker, Will Blocker, Clayten Gough and Reese Graham had hits for Tallassee.

The Tigers play next in Millbrook vs. Stanhope Elmore at 4:30 on Tuesday, Feb. 25. A three-day homestand begins on Thursday vs. LAMP, followed by Pike Road on Friday and a doublheader Saturday vs. Marianna, Fla. and Marbury.
