McCaig seeks reelection

Ruthanne McCaig is seeking re-election to Tallassee City Schools Board of
Education, Ward 4. Mrs. McCaig has lived in Tallassee for 47 years and taught in the Tallassee school system for 29 years.
Her
two children are graduates of Tallassee High School and three of her
grandchildren currently attend Tallassee City Schools.
"As a parent, grandparent and educator, I understand the
importance of consistent improvement in our school system," McCaig said. "As part of my
commitment, I will work to complete the building of a new high school in a
timely manner. I promise to continue to work for the betterment of the
school system for our students, faculty and citizens."
McCaig has served on the Tallassee City Schools Board of Education for 12 years, three of those as board president.
