Many "heroes" with reading program

The summer program, “Every Hero Has A Story!” has come to an end. We have had a lot of fun learning about heroes doing crafts and being entertained.
You have all been Super Hero’s by donating non-perishables for our local ACTS. You collected seven large boxes of food. We appreciate all who gave.
First, second and third place winners received backpacks full of prizes and goodies. Everyone attending the summer program received a a certificate, prize sack with candy and prizes along with a dog tag, glow necklace and bracelet. If you missed the awards day at the library, you may pick up your prize at the library by Sep. 1.
There were 206 children registered with 142 readers. On the last two reading days there were 1,006 books turned in. There were 9,873 this year, beating last year by 1,704 books. WOW! We had 28 kids read more than 100 books each. The winners for the sumer program are as follows:
